Term PEKOE used to identify the special tea grade in the tea industry. In general tea type Pekoe comes out from the matured tea leaves of hand-picked sprigs, such as third & fourth leaves in a tea shoot makes the pekoe while in the tea making process. Pekoe has its distinguished features in common. Very well rolled curly small pressed tea looks knotty in appearance. It produces hard liquor and a very good color when infusing in boiled water.
